Our Store
has CLOSED. We succumbed to the failing economy. I think you all know how much we tried to keep the
store open. Operation Save SGT was my desperate attempt to make it through the summer. It worked!!! Not only that
but it touched our hearts. It was so AWESOME to know how much you all cared about us and wanted us to stay open. Unfortunately,
it wasn’t enough to keep us afloat.
We used to be the store that had it all. It is exhausting wanting
and wanting to buy new, new, new but not having the funds too. It seems like I just can't come up with new and exciting
ideas that all of you are accustomed to. Crazy, fun ideas used to come to me so naturally. More than anything, I just can't
do it anymore. I am physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually drained. I feel like it is just a matter of time
before it starts to affect my health.
This is the one of the saddest days of my life.
I am devastated.
We all are!
When I opened the store, never in a million years did I think we would make so many wonderful friends...friends
who ultimately became part of our extended SGT Family. We laughed together and cried together. We got married
together, we had babies and grandbabies together, we celebrated birthdays and holidays, we went on vacation together, we had
graduations together and we lost loved ones. I truly feel like I am a better person because of all of you.
