Come and learn exciting new techniques or "just the basics" in our warm, inviting classroom.
Different topics every month, come and join the fun.
NEW CLASS POLICY
You
all know how hard the instructors work to prepare for a class. It takes them
days and days, they stay up until the wee hours of the morning measuring, cutting, trimming, inking and putting everything
into kits. All of the instructors lead very busy lives, some of them have jobs, most of them have kids to drive around and
they have husbands to take care of. Sometimes things get a little overwhelming
for them. One thing they have in common is that they love to teach. Most of them prepare their kits 2-3 weeks in advance. When
someone cancels at the last minute the kit has already been cut out and there is a chance that they will not be able to fill
that spot. That is not fair to the instructor.
We
have made some changes in our cancellation policy.
- All cancellations must be made one week in advance.
If the cancellation is made on time you will receive a store credit in the amount of the class. If the cancellation is not made on time you will receive a kit for the class.
- No refunds or adjustments for classes will be issued at the Class Kick Off.
- Class kits will be held for 30 days. We
will make one phone call to remind you it is here. After that your kit will be
donated to charity and no refunds will be issued.
Thank you
for your understanding!!!
Add on Kits for Classes Most of you are aware that
when you take a class, the instructors usually offer an Add On Kit for the project that they have created. An Add On
Kit might consist of a couple of extra pages for a minibook or a 6x6 replica of a layout. The instructors prepare the Add
On Kits ahead of time. They have to make a wild guess on how many they should make. They usually do not predict
the right amount. They either make too many and are stuck with extra add on kits or they don’t make enough and
either you do not get an add on kit or they are scrambling to make more for the people who still want them. It can be disappointing
for you and it definitely very frustrating for the instructors.
Beginning with September classes, instructors will display their Add On Kits alongside the
class project. If you like what you see, you have until one week before the class to purchase it. Add On Kits
will no longer be sold the night of the class. Make sure you purchase your Add On Kit in time.
Did you know??
Did you know that if you cannot make a class, most of the instructors sell class kits? Yup, it
is true!! Also if you sign up for a class and you cannot make the class you will get a class kit. Just so you
know, these kits will **NOT** have instructions or photos. You can make arrangements with the store to have the instructor
bring the project so you can take a look at it. You can even sit down at the crop table and create your project right
then and there.
